![]() ![]() It's a fairly serious program with a lot of features and options. Active Presenter is not designed for first time/one time use. If you don't know what you're doing or don't do it frequently enough to recall all the feature locations, you'll struggle. In fairness, there is no such think as "simple" video editing. Active Presenter was the best combination of features (basic timeline editing, ability to pan and zoom the screen video, various options for exporting, no recurring costs for needed features) I found. I played with a lot of tools in this category - many are free/feature limited with Pro versions ranging from single high cost to subscriptions. (but after all, there is a very elaborated manual and a supporting help-desk!)Ībility to record on screen actions and combine that with recorded video, still and audio clips to create a single merged video output. You can also make an automated link to Google Spreadsheets to follow up the results! CONSĪ little bit of learning curve before you can explore all the possibilities of the software. All the results of the students can easily be stored in an LMS (with SCORM or xAPI support). Interactive elements are available to guide the audience by an adapted path, fitting the situation or the need of the audience. Built-in audio/video editing capabilities. Here are a few of the many things I like about the software: Easy `basic-down-to-earth PowerPoint-like presentations with automated output (even here, the possibilities are 100-fold compared to other tools!). ActivePresenter presentations have full interactive options students are really enthusiastic to work independently on tasks, modules, interactive quizzes and hard-core-physics-exercises. These moments in front of the classroom are accompanied with e-learning activities. I also incorporate the necessary text-to-speech fragments this makes me feel completely relieved and at ease, because prepared to `cope with the group of `youngsters in the classroom. All my lessons are `packed in ActivePresenter. ActivePresenter makes teaching active, dynamic, `flashing and student-related. The interactivity and the user-friendly approach is so great! As a Physics Teacher, after many years, I finally found the ultimate solution to cope with the modern students needs. I use ActivePresenter now for almost 3 years! I am very proud of showing my presentations to all my colleagues. (Output files are fine.) Neither of these are big issues.įor me, ActivePresenter is perfect as an all-in-one elearning authoring package! PROS Source files for a complex video can be LARGE, up to several hundred MB. If you have, some things work differently but there are no real surprises. It’s a high-end video edit and there’s a learning curve if you haven’t used a similar product before. With the course creation module, of course, you’d get many more. AP has a nice library of special effects, including transitions from scene to scene, fades in and out of individual items in the timeline, animation (even without Saola Animate), and opacity. Once you’ve captured a video, you can export it as a MP4, then add it to another video, then edit it again, then export that video and import it to another video…all without loss of audio or video quality. You can record a video without the mouse and layer the mouse in later, another big maintenance win. You can record multiple audio and video tracks at once. It captures video off the screen or from an application *and separates the video track from the audio track*-a huge win in maintenance. As you edit, you can separate your video into chunks ("slides") to focus on one piece of animation or editing at a time. It can import PowerPoint slides, images, GIFs, and other videos. For ease of use and breadth of features, my favorite is ActivePresenter. I've used other video editing suites and course creation tools, including Captivate, Camtasia, and (currently) Premiere Pro. As a mystery writer, I produce "teaser" videos for my books: fewer maintenance cycles but I need more dazzling effects. As a video producer for a major educational company, I produce small how-to videos that need frequent updating. With AP, we simply record the published older video and turn it into an AP source file. We’ve occasionally lost source files for older videos (not necessarily in ActivePresenter). ![]() With some other video editors, it took a couple of days. ![]() With ActivePresenter, we can switch out anything that needs to be edited for a new release, switch in new material quickly, and put out a revised video in less than an hour. Maintenance of how-to videos is a big issue. ![]()

![]() ![]() In some cases, they compared horse teams pulling large loads over distance, such as a fully loaded hay cart or wagon. Prior to the invention of the tractor, when farm implements were pulled by horses, farmers would boast about the strength of their teams and seek to compare and contest in teams with one another to see who had the most powerful animals. From there it gradually spread to Canada, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand. Tractor pulling became popular in rural areas across the Midwestern and Southern United States in the 1950s and 1960s. The first known competitions using motorized tractors were held in 1929 in Missouri and Kentucky. Tractor pulling originated from pre- Industrial Era horse pulling competitions in which farmers would compete with one another to see whose teams of draft horses could pull a heavy load over the longest distance. The farther the tractor pulls the drag, the more difficult it gets. This is essentially a metal plate, and as the weight moves toward it, the resistance between the pan and the ground builds. In front of the rear wheels, instead of front wheels, there is a "pan". This means that, as it is pulled down the track, the weight is transferred (linked with gears to the drag’s wheels) from over the rear axles and towards the front of the drag. The drag is known as a weight transfer drag. ![]() When more than one tractor completes the course, more weight is added to the drag, and those competitors that moved past 91 metres (300 ft) will compete in a pull-off the winner is the one who can pull the drag the farthest. ![]() When a tractor gets to the end of the 100 meter track, this is known as a "full pull". The sport is known as the world's most powerful motorsport, due to the multi-engined modified tractor pullers.Īll tractors in their respective classes pull a set weight in the drag. Tractor pulling is popular in certain areas of the United States, Mexico, Canada, Europe (especially in the United Kingdom, Greece, Switzerland, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Denmark and Germany), Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Vietnam, India and New Zealand. Truck and tractor pulling, also known as power pulling, is a form of a motorsport competition in which antique or modified tractors pull a heavy drag or sled along an 11-meter-wide (35 ft), 100-meter-long (330 ft) track, with the winner being the tractor that pulls the drag the farthest. This will lead to a smooth clearing out process, rather than a chaotic situation. For the stuff that you haven’t used in a couple of years, consider selling it off or throwing it away. When clearing out a safe room, sort things into different categories and prioritize what needs a detailed look and what does not. Besides that, be sure to use surface cleaners and disinfectants to ensure that the safe room is 100% sterile and safe to be used in case of an emergency. You must ensure that all corners of the safe rooms are cleaned. Using equipment like gloves and heavy-duty mops is just the start.
